The name jinthing consists of the two words "jin" and "thing". Jin is Chinese (进, jìn) and means 'close or in your vicinity'. Jin could also refer to 金 (jīn) meaning 'gold' and 'money'. Thing is just english for 'thing' ;) So "jinthing" refers to things that in my vicinity, on my radar, the things that interest me, the things that have value to me -- the things I blog about here.
The most interesting, concerning 'jinthing' in my life at the moment is the entrepreneurial work I am immersed in.
Or yeah, you noticed correctly: jinthing sounds almost like 'Ginseng' (人蔘, rénsēn), _the_ herb in Korea (인삼) that's super healthy and supposed to supply you with a lots of power.
